Oahu Surfing Lessons

Pre-book your Oahu basic surf lesson before you travel to Oahu. Learn surf techniques, safety rules and surf break etiquette under the guidance of certified lifeguards and surf instructors. With over an hour and a half of water time you will have the chance to try it all.

Our Surf instructors will provide all the necessary equipment, allowing you to focus on having fun catching waves.

There are three great options available for your surfing lessons:

• Private Surf Lessons – One-on-one surf lessons, just between you and the surfing instructor
• Semi Private Surf Lesson – Small groups no larger than 4 surfing students
• Stand Up Paddle Lesson- Small group lesson for beginners, with groups no larger than 5 students

Young children who want to learn to surf (minimum age is 5) and individuals with special needs are highly recommended to sign up for the private surf lessons. All participants must be able to swim.

Surf lessons are popular and commonly booked out on Oahu. Avoid disappointment, book your surfing today!

Additional information

• One or two-hour surf lesson with a qualified instructor
• Rashguard shirt (rental)
• Surfboard equipment (rental)
• Rubberized fins (rental)
• Optional water shoes (rental)
• Hotel pickup and drop-off for private and semi-private lesson participants staying in Waikiki hotels. Stand up paddle lesson participants requesting hotel pickup and drop-off will be charged an additional $10 per person on the day of lesson.

• Confirmation for your surf lesson will be received at time of booking
• Minimum age is 5 years old for the private and semi-private lesson
• Minimum age is 12 years old for the stand up paddle lesson
• Stand up paddle lesson participants requesting hotel pickup and drop-off will be charged an additional $10 per passenger on the day of lesson.
